What is LEBA?

The Latin Economics and Business Association (LEBA) is a student organization at the McCombs School of Business dedicated to supporting Latino students pursuing careers in business and economics.

Through weekly general meetings, professional workshops, and networking events, LEBA connects members with peers, alumni, and industry professionals while providing exposure to real career paths and opportunities.

Beyond professional development, LEBA fosters a strong sense of community through social events, mentorship, and service initiatives. Our goal is to create a space where members feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

We aim to develop future leaders who will make an impact in their industries and communities.

Meeting Times: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM

Our Philosophy

LEBA aND BEYOND

We believe success goes beyond the classroom.

LEBA is built on the idea that Latino students should have access to the networks, knowledge, and opportunities needed to thrive in business and economics.

We are committed to creating a space where ambition is supported, community is strong, and members are empowered to grow both personally and professionally.

Our Objectives

ENTREPRENEURSHIP, KNOWLEDGE & NETWORKING

We focus on three core areas that support our members’ growth:

Professional Development

Workshops, speaker events, and real-world insights that prepare members for careers in business, finance, consulting, and beyond.

Networking & Opportunities

Access to a strong network of peers, alumni, and professionals, creating opportunities for internships, mentorship, and career exploration.

Community & Leadership

A supportive environment where members build meaningful relationships, give back, and grow into leadership roles within LEBA and beyond.
